Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (remote)

Amberfield Sparrow Environmental Services Group serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Chicago, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our after-hours coverage. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling landfill records on changes. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Knowledge of landfill records. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
