Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (remote)

Stonegate Hollow Freight is looking for a Dispatcher. The job centres on after-hours coverage for proof of delivery, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling proof of delivery on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
