Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (remote)

Northwind West Freight Partners is looking for a Dispatcher. The job centres on after-hours coverage for customer tracking, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 117 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling customer tracking on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of customer tracking. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Colorado Springs. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
