Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (remote)

We are growing our team at Nova Umber Farms and adding a Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be after-hours coverage. You would join a large organisation of about 318 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling seasonal crews on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Knowledge of seasonal crews. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
