Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (remote)

Greenridge Sparrow Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of New Orleans, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our after-hours coverage. You would join a small organisation of about 169 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Coordinate with the teams handling loads and lanes on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
