Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (remote)

Rivermark Harbor Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Knoxville, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our after-hours coverage. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling fleet maintenance on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of fleet maintenance. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
