Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (Raleigh, NC)

Rivermark Harbor Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Raleigh. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on after-hours coverage. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling collection routes on changes. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Knowledge of collection routes. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Raleigh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
