Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (Portland, OR)

We are growing our team at Bright Umber Inspection Services and adding a Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be after-hours coverage. You would join a large organisation of about 529 people based in Portland. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling test reports on changes. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Knowledge of test reports. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
