Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (Pittsburgh, PA)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Basin Freight and adding a Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be after-hours coverage. You would join a small organisation of about 111 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling customer tracking on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of customer tracking. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We reply to every applicant.
