Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (Memphis, TN)

Bright Wren Freight is a Memphis logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our after-hours coverage. You would join a large organisation of about 473 people based in Memphis. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling proof of delivery on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Memphis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
