Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (Louisville, KY)

Silverline Orchard Freight is a Louisville logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our after-hours coverage. You would join a small organisation of about 16 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling customer tracking on changes. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Knowledge of customer tracking. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Louisville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
