Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (Indianapolis, IN)

Westbrook Harbor Freight is looking for a Dispatcher. The job centres on after-hours coverage for dock schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling dock schedules on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of dock schedules. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Indianapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
