Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (Houston, TX)

Amberfield Forge Environmental Services Group is looking for a Dispatcher. The job centres on after-hours coverage for collection routes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Coordinate with the teams handling collection routes on changes. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of collection routes. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
