Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (Houston, TX)

Bluepeak Quarry Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Houston, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our after-hours coverage. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling landfill records on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Knowledge of landfill records. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
