Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (El Paso, TX)

Amberfield Forge Freight is looking for a Dispatcher. The job centres on after-hours coverage for carrier rates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 189 people based in El Paso. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling carrier rates on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of carrier rates. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in El Paso. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
