Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (Detroit, MI)

Nova Hollow Freight is looking for a Dispatcher. The job centres on after-hours coverage for loads and lanes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling loads and lanes on changes. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
