Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (Detroit, MI)

Amberfield Keystone Farms is looking for a Dispatcher. The job centres on after-hours coverage for packing house output, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 414 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling packing house output on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Knowledge of packing house output. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
