Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (Denver, CO)

Fernwood West Freight Group is a Denver logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on after-hours coverage. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling customer tracking on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Knowledge of customer tracking. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Denver, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
