Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Ashton Inspection Services and adding a Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be after-hours coverage. You would join a small organisation of about 143 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling scheduling on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Knowledge of scheduling. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
