Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (Boston, MA)

Fernwood Lakeside Inspection Services is an inspection company in Boston with field technicians and lab staff, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our after-hours coverage. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling client sites on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of client sites. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
