Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (Baltimore, MD)

Clearpath Linden Freight is a Baltimore logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on after-hours coverage. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling carrier rates on changes. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of carrier rates. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Baltimore, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
