Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (Baltimore, MD)

Fernwood Holdings is looking for a Dispatcher. The job centres on after-hours coverage for test reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 153 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling test reports on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of test reports. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Baltimore. • We reply to every applicant.
