Dispatcher - after-hours coverage (Albuquerque, NM)

Fernwood Birch Freight Group coordinates shipments and warehousing around Albuquerque. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on after-hours coverage. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling customer tracking on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Knowledge of customer tracking. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Albuquerque. • We reply to every applicant.
