Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Wichita, KS)

Lumen Stone Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Wichita design routes and schedules, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Wichita. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in route schedules and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on survey data. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Wichita. • We reply to every applicant.
