Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Wichita, KS)

Highbridge Iron Construction Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for project schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in project schedules and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on change orders. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Wichita, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
