Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Wichita, KS)

Clearpath Vale Insurance is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on policy renewals. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Wichita. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
