Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Virginia Beach, VA)

Silverline Beacon Water Authority Partners is a public water utility serving the Virginia Beach area, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 23 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in pipe repairs and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on meter reading. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
