Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Tulsa, OK)

Bright Orchard Freight is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for dock schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 929 people based in Tulsa. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in dock schedules and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on customer tracking. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Tulsa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
