Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Tucson, AZ)

Nova Vale Financial is a financial-services company in Tucson, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 425 people based in Tucson. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on payment disputes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Tucson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
