Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Toledo, OH)

Harborlight Meridian Hospitality operates hotels and event venues around Toledo. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Toledo. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on food costs. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Toledo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
