Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Toledo, OH)

Northwind Oak Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around Toledo, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on permits. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Toledo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
