Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (St. Louis, MO)

Ironwood Rowan Energy is an energy provider in St. Louis focused on reliable service and fair billing, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in hardship programmes and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on usage data. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
