Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (St. Louis, MO)

Ironwood Wilder Insurance is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for customer complaints, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in customer complaints and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on premium billing. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in St. Louis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
