Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (St. Louis, MO)

Rivermark Birch Civic Services supports public agencies in St. Louis with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 199 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in permits and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on public records. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in St. Louis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
