Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Spokane, WA)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Field Markets Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 148 people based in Spokane. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in pricing and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on online orders. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Spokane, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
