Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Spokane, WA)

Highbridge Quarry Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Spokane. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in meter readings and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Spokane. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
