Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Seattle, WA)

Ironwood Cedar Inspection Services Group provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Seattle, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 76 people based in Seattle. What you will do • Investigate trends in certifications and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on equipment calibration. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Seattle. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
