Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (Savannah, GA)

Summit Quarry Arts Center Group is an arts centre in Savannah with a full calendar of events. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. We run on creativity, deadlines and a lot of goodwill. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in visitor services and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on exhibitions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Savannah, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
