Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (San Jose, CA)

Westbrook Cobalt Learning Group is an education provider in San Jose serving students and families, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in enrolment and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on attendance records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
