Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (San Jose, CA)

Ironwood Wren Foods is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for customer specifications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 66 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on allergen controls. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
