Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (San Jose, CA)

Amberfield Quill Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around San Jose. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in supply orders and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on customer sites. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
