Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (San Jose, CA)

Rivermark Lakeside Energy delivers power and gas plans across the San Jose region. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in usage data and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on outage response. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
