Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (San Diego, CA)

Clearpath River Markets is a San Diego retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in shrink and waste and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on online orders. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
