Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Silverline West Environmental Services and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be quality and error analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in service complaints and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on weigh tickets. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
