Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (San Diego, CA)

Highbridge Junction Financial serves customers across San Diego with accounts, loans and payments. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 922 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in customer onboarding and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on loan applications. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
