Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (San Diego, CA)

Foxglove West Facilities is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on quality and error analysis for supply orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Bilingual teams are common. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in supply orders and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on work orders. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
