Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (San Diego, CA)

Ironwood Lantern Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the San Diego area, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our quality and error analysis. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Investigate trends in learning materials and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on student accounts. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
