Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (San Diego, CA)

Nova Iron Housing provides affordable homes and support services around San Diego. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in waiting lists and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on repair requests. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
