Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (San Diego, CA)

Lumen Meridian Facilities is a facilities company in San Diego with crews on day and night shifts. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 190 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on supply orders. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
