Data Analyst - quality and error analysis (San Diego, CA)

Nova Haven Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in San Diego. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on quality and error analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 26 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in production lots and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on clinical evaluations. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
